  4. New relationship. Me from getting it?

I'm getting into a new relationship with a man that has explained to me he has herpes. He is on valtrex and only has on on coming blister on the privates every 6 months if that. He has been on this med for about 2.5 years. If there anything I can take to prevent me from getting it? Or should I just walk away.
