New born child having jaundice

My three days old baby has symptoms of jaundice. I put him in sunlight for one hour in morning today. Then his eyes color got white but again after few hours it got yellow. He also had urine for only one time in this 24hours and stool for only one time since he was born. What should I do now?

you definitely need to consult with a neonatologist or pediatrician. passing urine once in 24 hours is definitely not good, it means he is dehydrated, which can in turn worsen his jaundice. keeping him in sunlight isnt going bring down his bilirubin levels drastically. kindly consult with a doctor ASAP
