New born baby not crying

Asked for Male, 30 Years

My sister attmited in private hospital and she has normal delivery cut baby is note crying. Is this problem? Doctor suggest to another private hospital for baby respirating problem. More then 8days baby is note open her eyes. When we touch she is respond. Yesterday dr. Suggest for MRI scan first amu problem with brain and after they baby brain has swelling. What is problem in this regard. Please help us.

Definitely the baby needs to go into extensive neonatal care where all all necessary investigations will be done including MRI to revive the baby and also clear doubts on any kind of mal functioning of cerebral or cardiac issues

Hello.. Need some details as follows; Was the baby a term baby, were there were any complications during pregnancy, what was baby’s weight & was there any undue prolongation during labour , was the labour induced or if it was an instrumental delivery.. The probable causes may be Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy or septicemia or asphyxia .. Hope everything will be fine..
