Hi, breastfeeding is the best, formula feeding is generally needed only if the child cannot be breastfed, and it does increase the risk of infections. That being said the amount of formula needed in this situation for newborn babies is anywhere from one to two ounce every two to three hourly, or as needed. You can hear more about formula feeding here Listen to this episode of my podcast, Your Personal Child Specialist !, ,, IN HINDI हिंदी में top 10 questions about formula feeding dabbe ka doodh https://anchor.fm/gaurav-gupta6/episodes/in-hindi---top-10-questions-about-formula-feeding-dabbe-ka-doodh-e3jrv9

Give him exclusive breastfeeding 2-3 hrly....if needed by spoon after expressing breastmilk( not by bottle)...Bottle feeding is not recommended, may increase the chances of acquiring infections
