MRI can be normal in ALS. EMG can be normal in initial stages of ALS. Multiple sclerosis is a different brain disease and EMG is not the routine investigation of choice and can be normal. Neurotic disease is the terminology used for psychiatric disease. ALS andMS are neurologic diseases
