Neomecrazole in pregnancy
30 f. I was having irregular periods since Jan. I have Hyperthyroid and I am on neomarcazole 5mg.In may I missed my period and I did my home pregnancy test which was not so clear. So I continued my neomecrazole. Again I thought it's because of my thyroid I am missing my periods and ignored to take pregnancy test again. Since few days I was feeling unwell and did blood pregnancy test and it showed 43122 HCG total. My last period was May 17 and since then I am using neomecrazole. My thyroid doc told its not safe during pregnancy and I need to stop once pregnancy is confirmed but the urine home test which was not clear I ignored it and today July 11 I did blood test since then I am using neomecrazole I am worried if it is safe for my and my kid as I used it since a month of pregnancy as the blood test shows 5-6 weeks. Will it harm my unborn? Also is it safe to get pregnant when I have Hyperthyroid? Last TFT report came normal but doctor said we need to continue medication for few months.
