Need some help

Asked for Male, 24 Years

I had a surgery on my elbow three days back.from then i did not able to pass stool because its too hard too pass and painful.but after taking some medicine today i able pass the stool.but right after passing stools fever appears.now i am suffering from fever.what could be the reason behind that? Help me as soon as possible.
