Nausea and medication
Good evening sir/madam, am 17weeks pregnant I haven't started my calcium and iron medications yet because of nausea and calcium tablets are very big to take which is arkacal is there any chewable calcium supplements or calcium liquid for pregnant women ? Other than tablet please suggest . Will it affect my baby if I dont take calcium tablet ? Because of nausea I cant eat or take anything please replyy

Please consult your Gynaecologist. As far as I am concerned, all Calcium tablets and Iron tablets are the same. The choice is as per the acceptance of the medicine by the patient.

Talk to your regular obstetrician and get your prescription changed . Yes not taking medication can have adverse effects.
