Nasal Bone is 3.2 mm in size at 21 weeks
Hi All, My wife is 21 week pregnant, and we did anomaly scan at 18 weeks and the nasal bone length was 4.88 mm and in the double marker report says "screening test has probability is 1:4114 for Down syndrome. Screening Test is Negative.'' And RISK IS LOW. At 21 week we did another anomaly and the nasal bone length was 3.2 mm and impression is small in size. Does all these means there is definite chance of Down Syndrome and it was suggested to do NIPT . Please suggest.

The double marker test is just a screening test since the nasal bone is seen and ultrasound is not indicative  of any other soft tissue marker for down syndrome nothing to worry
