CT Angiography revealed 2.5 cm Mid LAD Myocardial Bridge and 0 Calcium score in all the arteries.
The cardiologist said nothing to worry and prescribed Dilzem 30 tablet but the chest pain is persistent even after medication.

Myocardial bridge is not so uncommon conditions. Many patients, mostly young, come with chest pain occasionally. In this scenario patient can calcium channel blockers like tab Dilzem to relieve symptoms. Nitrates is avoided in this condition. Most of the patients respond well with treatment. But in case of significant symptoms, very rarely,surgical treatment or angioplasty may be needed. In these circumstances, it is better to avoid heavy and strenuous work.
