Myo d chiro inositol suppliments. Safe.

I'm 33 years old and I'm having pcod, irregular period and facial hair.i got my first pregnancy with hormone treatment and it worked.now I'm having a 3 year old boy. After 6months of my delivery I got my period naturally.after that not getting periods regularly,after I consult my gynic doc she prescribed me medicine li 21 days pill and suppliments and I used it for 3 months after that I couldn't consult my gynic but going to my general physician for regular check up for diabeties and bp .she prescribed me progesterone tablet to get period. Problem is I got my period my I take the progesterone tablet only ,. Recently I view a suppliments add about pcod, myo and d chiro inositol. Can I use the suppliment for regulate my period. Is it safe .
