My wife is pregnant having constipation

My wife is having contipation. She is in 13th week of pregnancy. She has started taking Iron supplement after dinner as prescribed. My question is can she take Duphalac along with iron supplements or does it have any side effects? My wife is a bit anemic but no other medical problems
