My wife drank phenol.
Hi doc,
My wife drank 100ml of phenol at around 2.40 am on 7th of March by mistake and vomited it out within 5 mjns.
We went to hospital and got her admitted . Most of the tests were done and we were out of hospital by 7 pm next day without doing endoscopy .
Is feels fine and she has not felt anything wrong with her body since 7th March but she has constipation problem from last 2 days .. which is on 10th and 11th today . I don't know if we should go to hospital again.

Yes. Visit a general surgeon immediately. Your SYMPTOM may or may not be related to phenol intake though. Laxatives etc may be required.
