Tonsils and Adenoids are lymphnodes which have overgrowth during 4 to 8 years age. After 8 to 10 years of age they reduce in size naturally. Usually they increase in size whenever cold n cough is there. There are medicines for Adenoids to control it's growth. Surgery is required only if they are very problematic. It's your wish to go for alternative medicine or not.
