My son 3yrs 8months having fever 101-102 giving crocin 240 6ml 6hrs once, fever is not coming down, can i give meftal p oral suspension 4ml ? If yes, previous corcin 5ml was given at 4:30pm , when should I give meftal -p and crocin again?

Do cold sponging of the whole body for around 10-15mins
If fever persists, give paracetamol dose as advised by your pediatrician.. You can repeat paracetamol after 4-6hrs if fever recurrs. Meftal-p has not been recommended in children group..

Give meftal p if temp is above 100 f inspite of giving crocin 240 . Ya u can give meftal p 100 mg - 3.5 or 4 ml . Meftal
P given evry 8 th hrly . Give crocin after giving meftal
P after 6 hrs
