Platelets production is a complex process.  Too many substances are involved. As far as natural ways to increase Platelets is concerned,  one should have green vegetables,  beet roots,  carrots,  tomatoes; preferably in the form of soup.  Vit B, C, K , fatty fish  also are required to increase Platelets.  But it is a slow process.  You have come from 16000 to  56000. If there is no blood loss  you will increase your Platelets by these methods.
