Please avoid using turmeric on any wound as it can cause super added infection secondly there is no need of giving tetanus shot to the baby as the baby gets tetanus shot with regular vaccination's Whenever there is any bleed apply pressure on that site with a clean cloth and dont apply any bandage on the site Apply betadiene ointment on the site

Greetings Infants who receive their standard, up-to-date immunizations are already protected against tetanus, as the primary DTaP or DTP vaccine series typically delivers doses at 2, 4, and 6 months of age.Extra emergency booster injections are generally not required for minor, clean domestic scratches if the routine schedules are strictly followed. The physical bandage must be removed immediately because it presents a major choking hazard if the baby sucks on her fingers.Harsh chemicals like liquid Dettol and home remedies should be avoided on open infant skin; instead, wash the area gently with mild soap and clean water and consider a safe ointment. Please carefully review your child's physical vaccination record card and consult your local pediatrician to confirm that all 2-month vaccine shots were successfully completed.

Hi this is Dr.Rajat Shrivastava First of all whenever there is a cut and bleed do not apply turmeric over it as it can cause wound to get infected as it is not sterile at all. whenever there is a cut or wound that is bleeding actively then apply pressure over the wound using clean cloth or something so that bleed stops. In your case bleeding stopped but you applied bandage over it . to keep wound healthy and no infection you have to remove the bandage and clean the wound again with running soap and water and keep it open only.

She must have received tetanus vaccines as a part of routine immunization at 6 and 10 weeks. If not taken, then she needs it. Clean the wound daily with antiseptic using sterile dressing material. Better to visit a pediatrician once

Avoid using turmeric on the wound. Minor injuries typically heal without complications. Tetanus toxoid injection is unnecessary if the child has received regular immunizations.
