My mouth is not opening properly
My mouth is not opening properly due to habit of chewing panmasala and gutkha. i quit my habit but my mouth is still not opening more than 3-4 cm. It hurts when I try to open it. I need any suggestion first then i will visit to dentist... Dan I cure it at home by any antioxidant and mouth workout?

Itz oral submucous fibrosis . You need localized injections of medication for complete mouth opening . It will take months to heal.

Hello sir.. The condition is medically called as oral sub mucous fibrosis....you need to visit dentist immediately for cure as there is no other home remedies to cure this condition....steroidal injection and topical steroids should given depends on the severity of the condition

First of all if u can cure it at home y r doctors sitting in clinic my friend... Secondly reduced mouth opening cannot b treated just by medicines.. It needs proper medical interventions like intra lesional injections, surgery, stoppage og habit, medications, excercise and much more... So better you please visit oral and maxilofacial surgeon for futher help

Reduced mouth opening due to gutkha chewing is known as Oral Submucous fibrosis ........ A pre- cancerous condition!!!!
Next Steps
First stop the habbit completely...... and consult either oral medicine specialist or oral surgeon!!!!
