My mother is having gall stone.
Which doctor should we consult to, so as to we get the best treatment. We are thinking to go to BLk but if we could get the guidance to which doctor we should go in for treatment. Please advise.

To treat the gall stones I need proper history of the case and also need to know the size of the stone .

Hello Practo user. Gall stones are either cholestrol or bile pigments , they can we easily be dissolved by homeopathic medicines. Otherwise you can consult a surgeon for cholecystectomy ie.removal of gall bladder

Hi, few small size gall Stones can be treated with ayurvedic medicine .If these size & numbers of stones on higher side then I'll recommend you to do cholecystectomy

There is no way to expel gall bladder stones (unlike case of kidney stones). So gall stones if they r not creating problem, let them be there. But do follow annual checkups. But if they r causing problem, its better to remove them
