Hello, Is the redness in eyes still persisting? What medications you were put on? Did the redness subside and recurred back again in last 9 months,if so how many episodes? Any other health issues?Episcleritis/ scleritis? Please provide more information regarding pain in eye/ blurring of vision. Do provide a photograph of your eyes for better understanding.
Next Steps
in most of the cases of episcleritis, the cause is unknown . investigation are needed for severe and/or recurring cases. in about 30-40% of cases it's due to some health issue called as collagen vascular diseases (for which u have been evaluated) and infection like tuberculosis , syphilis.
