My three month childwas suffering from cold and cough l went hospital and doctor suggested the phenargan syrup and I had doubt about to give that syrup or not and it is safe my baby or not pls help me

Absolutely NOT!! Just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down. If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness,consult ANOTHER paediatrician.
