My breast and nipple feels soft
My baby is 14 days old. My baby is actively sucking at my breast for over 45 minutes. After feeding she burps atleast once. For first 10 days I felt that my breast and nipple are hard but now it becomes so soft during feeding.. if I squeeze my breast I saw a drop of milk from it. Does it means I have low supply of milk?. she urinate atleast 4 to 5 times per day.. she is 2.3 kg at 5th day of birth.. shall I give formula milk to increase her weight?.. does formula milk gives constipation?.

Continue breast feeding only. You are doing a good job. All this is normal. Your breast milk supply is fine. Baby is doing fine. Formula feeds are not good for the baby. Check weight twice a week and meet a pediatrician if there is any doubt.

Hi. Urine output is less. See whether baby is latching properly. Feed from one beast and express milk from other breast and feed the baby 2 hrly. Burp for 15-20 min after every feed.
Next Steps
You eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of liquids/ milk to increase breast milk. You can take Lactare tablets to increase your milk too
