My Baby suffering from jaundice.
Hello doctors, Good day, My baby girl was born on 2nd June 2019 she is suffering from little jaundice symptoms also. During night hours she is also passing stool comparatively to day time. During hospital stay she was passing a lot of liquid stool during first two day of her birth pediatrics examined her n advised it is normal with little jaundice symptoms. Please advise. Siddhant Gupta.

Dear parents, Every baby develop jaundice from 3rd day onwards, increases till 5thday &decreases upto 8thday. Baby can pass stool as many times as she feed.

Don’t worry its normal get a serum bilrubin tested

Little jaundice is normal at this age U can get Serum bilirubin tested with advice of your Paediatrician Frequent passage of stools is also normal in newborns unless baby is passing urine well & is active .The reason being newborns don’t have proper stools holding power It’s more so when baby is awake & taking frequent feeds usually it’s so at night in initial days
