My 7 month baby is detected Covid Pstve
My 7 month baby is detected Covid Positive with current symptom as fever. The fever is currently managed by paracetamol but he is not able to sleep properly. After every 10-15 mins he wake and start crying. He is sleepy but something is disturbing. For nasal congestion we are using nasal drops. Pls suggest

Your baby is sleepy and  crying cause of  viral fever.  for fever continue  paracetamol .  for nasal congestion  I would  suggest you to  start nebulisation  with normal saline it's quite soothing  for babies.  third most important  thing in this pandemic  is to keep up proper hydration  of the baby,  give lot of fluids and a good diet. you handle baby with a mask on your face and  isolate from other family  members ,  only mother should  take care of baby with a mask on her face..  remember  you have to stop the Transmission  to other family  members  n your self so that you can take care of the little  one.  don't worry he will be fine 😊

Even though he is not having fever, viral infection are known to cause myalgia, I would suggest you continue paracetamol for a day or two. Continue with saline drop every 4 hourly for 5 days.
