My 1yr old baby boy has UTI
Hi doctor, My 1yr old baby had UTI and colony coint was 1lakh after 5days v took 2nd urine test, it showed colony count was 10000 which decreased and also baby became active, still doctor prescribed blood test and scan and tablets, v checked with two centres they refused to take blood test for 1yr old baby, can u pls clarify that it is necessary to take blood test for further investigation of UTI, v gave medicine one week, he felt better, but from today evening he is crying like before and he is feeling irritated. Pls. Advice

Hi, Since the infection is not gone completely, you need to do scan and urine test. Give liquids/ water regularly.
