I have heard stem cell therapy is curing muscular dystrophy disease but how true is this? Till date there is no currently

There is no definite cure for muscular dystrophy but limited results with stem cells for prolonging life of the child especially in Duchenne muscular dystrophy however the research is still on and there is no definite evidence that it works but future is bright and some research may crop up in the next few years  or two to know whether it works or not
