My son 16 years old 60 kgs 178 cms height is appearing for class 10 exam in 2024 Have all the symptoms of muscle dystrophy including crawling to rise from bed and weak grip and complains bodily pain Have difficulty writing holding a pen Taking regular medicine Oxytol 300 twice daily and in good control Last Affected by seizure on 14 January 23 [after one year approx.] Can we directly consult a neuro physician for evaluation and remedy What past reports are required during the evaluation

Yes, you should definitely consult a neurologist. I would suggest you to get genetic test done for the child to get to know the cause of dystrophy. Ganga ram hospital is a good one for that.At the same time you need to get physiotherapy regularly for your child. You have asked about reports .....EMG , NCV are the basic test required but you should get it done only when they are prescribed by a neurologist.
