Hi,. All human made things have issues. We always choose options based on risk, benefit ratio, including BMT for any hematological/ HematoOncological disorders. We worried about side effects but if you balance with good effect of BMT it can be advisable . So discuss with your treating doc ( pure hematologist/ hematoOncologist) pros and cons of this, but overall if he is fit and there are indications for BMT then you should opt this treatment option.
