Less than 60 yrs of age, for multiple myeloma, BMT is best option. It will increase the cure rate compared to chemotherapy also. Go ahead with BMT

Have u competed the chemotherapy? At 53 BMT is still an option but other parameters are necessary to understand what will be best for u.

Hi,. All human made things have issues.   We always choose options based on risk, benefit ratio, including BMT for any hematological/ HematoOncological disorders.  We worried about side effects but if you balance with good effect of BMT it can be advisable .  So discuss with your treating doc ( pure hematologist/ hematoOncologist) pros and cons of this, but overall if he is fit and there are indications for BMT  then you should opt this treatment option. Kindly get back for further clarification..
