I have periodontal disease and generalized bone loss.
I went to a dentist recently due to swelling in gums and he said we'd have to remove the molar because he can't save it so we allowed the extraction. Now I think I should have at least confirmed that this is the only way to go about it from other specialists.
He mentioned grade 2 mobility in that molar and few other teeth.
He said that I have my wisdom teeth pushing into neighbouring teeth and due to my condition I'd lose all my teeth soon and all I can do is wait for it to happen.
I have been prescribed rexidine-m forte gel+ sensoform gum paint to prevent any further loss.
I had tartar buildup and I was recommended deep cleaning. But after that my gums have been very sensitive.
I'm quite frustrated about this condition. Is there a way I can save my teeth?
I'm attaching my x-ray from a month ago for reference.

Hello
I am a Periodontist.
Even a grade 2 mobile teeth with bone loss is saved in young patients.
Sensitivity after scaling(first sitting) is normal and subsides in a few days.
And if your upper left third molar is removed that's done for your benefit.
Just confirm are u diabetic or is there any other health condition?
Next Steps
Deep scaling means cleaning roots which is crucial for improving your periodontal status i.e to prevent other teeth from such damage.
Health Tips
Do not fear.do not cease the treatment out of frustration.make sure to get complete treatment from a specialist. and then none of your teeth will be extracted.

Hello 🙂
Generalized bone loss at young age needs proper periodontal evaluation even after deep scaling. Sometimes additional gum therapy, pocket management or regenerative procedures may be required to stop further bone loss and save teeth long term.
I would suggest a detailed online / clinical consultation so that I can assess your reports, symptoms like bleeding, mobility or sensitivity and guide you with a personalized treatment plan.
Early management gives very good results in young patients 👍
Next Steps
1) Oral hygiene is very important in your case
2) Rule out Etiology
3) Further treatment on evaluation
Hi mam,
From the X-ray, we can see that there is a generalised bone loss and deep cleaning is a must. But feeling sensitivity after cleaning is normal, as you improve the brushing technique, oral hygiene, etc., then things will be better, but you will require further procedures with other teeth after the healing phase.
Thanks for sharing the Xray.
There is generalized bone loss and needs aggressive periodontal therapy to improve the outcome including regular scaling &polishing ,proper oral hygiene techniques, systemic medication ,localized surgery and regular follow ups to improve the condition .
Please visit a Periodontist for detailed evaluation and treatment planning.
