Over the counter MTP kits can be quite hazardous.
Here are the following things one must keep in mind before taking MTP kit-
1. Ultrasound is a must to exclude intrauterine or ectopic pregnancy before taking the kit.
2. MTP kit should always be taken after a doctor’s advice
3. If profuse bleeding starts after taking MTP kit ,you should tell your gynecologist foremost.
4. Often incomplete abortions through MTP kit require S & C.
5. Do not take any risk with your body by trusting quacks/unqualified doctors with this…as it might cause septic abortion which is life threatening.
You need to do a HCG test if it's a good value proceed with a ultrasound scan and later you can consult a local gynaecologist for prescription of MTP pills
MTP kit looks easy to use, but precautions are mandatory, consult a Gynecologist for diagnosis and responsibility , Ultrasound to confirm the location and duration of pregnancy, then the medicine under observation, this is safe abortion.
I suggest not to keep oneself in danger.
You need to undergo ultrasound again.
