MS and Viral Infections
My husband is a truck driver and is currently out on the road. He went to the ER last week with a fever, body aches, a headache, and fatigue. The doctors ran tests, but all they could tell him is that it is some kind of viral infection. He is supposed to come home this week. I am worried that he may still be contagious. I have MS and am scared of what could happen if I catch this virus. He has not had a fever for two days and is feeling a little better. Could he still be contagious?

Since you have multiple sclerosis, It would be better if your husband returns home after he feels completely better. As you're already immunodeficient you should take care to not expose yourself to any illness.
