Dear sir/madam,
Doctor has written MRI Brain for Pituitary Sella and Parasella region with contrast to rule out pituitary micro/macro edema.
Is it whole brain MRI with Pituitary or just Pituitary. ? Because lab has mentioned 10K for Brain+Pituitary and 5K if only for Pituitary. So, I am not sure only pituitary or both.
This test is suggested because of elevated prolactin. Attached the report.
I thought of asking the same doctor who prescribed this, but he is not available in phone and he is 80km away from my native.
Please advise.
