Mouth ulcers medically termed as CANKER SORES.
Exact causes of mouth ulcers are not known....
However some factors which contributes to ulcers are
**stress and anxiety
**vitamin deficiency (vitamin B12) and iron deficiency
** GIT disturbance(chron"s disease)
** use of medications like Beta blockers,pain killers
**viral infection(Herpetiform ulceration)
** Genetic factors
**Citrus food and other high acidic food
Prevention:
** Avoid spicy food which trigger the symptoms
**Keeping the mouth clean with daily brushing and flossing
**changing medications which cause ulcer

It is mandatory to visit dentist if the ulcer persits more than 2 weeks

3.Oral-b mouthwash (twice a day)â¦.non alcoholic
4.Change of tooth paste (less amount of sodium laurl sulfate)
Himalaya Neem & Pomegranate Toothpaste.
Sensodyne ProName Dr. Collins Natural Toothpaste.
5.Prednisone 20 mg (120 mg max dose) 1d (15-30 days) as needed
6.tab.Acyclovir.(daily 2 for 5 days)
