Hie.. Most importantly, need to rule out the cause of that ulcer.. ointment will give u a temporary relief.. if there is some occlusal disturbance, this could be relieved.. or could be because of gastritis as there are changes which occurs in the body at the time of pregnancy.. U can use the ointment but try not to swallow..

Yes you can. If some sharp edge of tooth is hurting you get it smoothened from dentist. It will help the ulcer heal and the ulcer won't recurr. It a simple procedure that can be done in pregnancy too.
Next Steps
Visit dentist for clinical examination.

Hi! First find the cause for the ulcer and try to solve it. Ointments just give relief. So visit a dentist and have a clinical check up done. You can use that ointment in a very small amount 10-15 mins prior to your meal.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist if it's very painful and not getting resolved by a week's time.
Health Tips
Drink loads of fluids and keep yourself hydrated. Take Care.
