My wife accidentally opened a becosule capsule and ingested the powder, it had a burning effect on the side of the mouth and has been sensitive since she has problems eating even low spice food or roti hurts whereas cold food is soothing...pls advise

There was sheer coincidence between the burning sensation experienced by your wife and the ingestion of the contents of the capsule.
