Mixing breastfeed and formula
I tested HIV positive when I was pregnant and started taking treatment immediately. Now I gave birth and my baby is 10 days today, my baby is on nvp. I choose to breastfeed but I don't think she's getting enough. I want to mix fed, give her formula and breast milk. Is that safe for my baby? At the clinic I was told not to give her nothing except breastfeed, but she's not getting enough. My viral load was 000869. Which the nurse said that it was safe to breastfeed. Please advice
