Missing period, zinc intake

Asked for Female, 25 Years

Hi, I started taking zinc supplement (35 mg) this month and I am wondering could it affect my menstrual cycle? I am a week late, so I was wondering if zinc could be causing it. I have to mention, that I did not consult any doctor before starting taking zinc, so I am not sure if zinc level in me is high or low... Thank you in advance.
