Asked for Female, 30 Years

One of my friend got married 2 years back. Now suddenly called me and said I missed my periods and been 4days now . Am I pregnant? She is feeling shy to see a doctor. Can you help me how to confirm whether she is pregnant or not ? If not why she missed her periods. So that I can make her understand the situation.
