Delayed periods are due to many other reasons besides pregnancy,like stress of any kind ,life style changes,harmonal issues ,suggest you to wait for a few more days and repeat tests for pregnant,if negative go for other tests or USG ,

Periods can be positive up-to 10th day, so you should repeat beta hcg after 5days again for confirmation
