Asked for Female, 22 Years

My wife missed her period this month. We have used pregnancy test strips for 2 times since the missed day but it was negative. Do we have to worry?

If want to be sure then get serum beta hcg done. If it shows nonpregnant levels then wait for a few more days for menses. If still no periods then can take progesterone for 5 days and wait for next 7 to 10 days. If levels are in pregnant range then serial usg and serum beta hcg levels need to be done to diagnose status of pregnancy.

Hi, can wait for 1 more week and repeat the urine pregnancy test, if negative can take medicines to get her periods.Do a blood test for beta HCG,which is more specific for confirmation of pregnancy.
