Missed Period - Negative Pregnancy Test

I was scheduled to get my period 4 days ago and still haven’t gotten it. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. My period is never late. Is there a chance I am pregnant and given a week or so it will show up on the test? Or is there anything I should be concerned about?
