Missed period
I am currently 7 days late for my period,We have been trying for a baby for approx 7 months.I have done two pregnancy test one of the day after my period was due and one on the 19th both were negative. I have a 31 day cycle and am NEVER late and haven't been for the past 3-4 years,I am concerned because on the 09/05 i was prescribed Amitriptyline 10mg by the doctor as i had insomnia - i am also on 50mg of Fluoxetine (around 12months).I have taken 6 of the Amitriptyline since i was prescribed them....More of an as and when i need them prescritption. Now i have read conflicting information online which suggests they can either cause your periods to stop/become irregular or can cause a negative pregnancy test resault. If they cause irregular periods then i cant understand why id have been prescribed them as my doctor knows we are trying to conceive,Any help would be appreciated.
