Missed period for 2 months..confused

Hi...im 35 years old. I have two kids at the age of 5 and 7.I have irregular period after my second child...right now my last period was august 15th 2017. I suspect myself to be pregnant. I bought myself home pregnancy test kit. To my suprise it was positive...so i went straight to check in clinic..but the doc said im not pregnant..we did scanning n blood test too..it turn out negative..only one paticular test kitkeep showing +. i hv test with other prenancy kit too butshows -plshelp
