Missed period after having letrozole pil

Asked for Female, 26 Years

Hi, My doctor suggested to take letrozole pill for the past 6 months.Periods came regularly on a monthly basis. This time also I took the tablets, menstruation got delayed by 44 days.i did home pregnancy test on 35th day,it showed me negative. Doctor recommended to do after a week call. Will this delayed periods would be a good sign of pregnancy?if yes means why HPT showed negative. One more thing,will blood and urine test is better to confirm pregnancy than HPT? Please help me out to relieve from this suspense. Thanks in Advance
