Missed abortion suspected
Hello, I'm 38 and 2nd time pregnant. LMP was 14th Oct, 2022. Came to know of no fetal heartbeat yesterday. Doc said missed abortion and asked to get a second expert opinion sonography done which we are getting done tomorrow. I'm heartbroken. What are my options for tissue removal. Scared of DnC since it's surgical. Will it cause any problems in conceiving in future as I'm already 38. Are pills a better option? Can a gynaecologist please advise. 🙏

Yes it can be done by medicines . And after the medicines, if there are any retained products, then you might need d&c..but repeat the ultrasound first..fetal heart may be established lately in few cases,  if the periods are irregular.
