What is the reason behind this ? Does it clear by medication?? It's a 3 month baby pics what I shown here. Does Congenital cataract clear by medication?? Dr mittal Pls kindly help

Hello sir There is no medicine for congenital cataract. Surgery is only option As only one eye is involved, we should get him operated ASAP otherwise there will be risk of amblyopia or lazy eye. Consult local paediatric ophthalmologist and take his opinion. He may advise you B scan ( ultrasound) of eye. We need to find out the cause of this cataract. He needs proper evaluation and treatment
