My baby girl turned one year today..from Sixth mnth she was on formula milk...Should I gstart her cow milk or buffalo milk? And how to start her transition from formula milk ? Should I start by replacing one feed or should I entirely stop formula and give her that cow or buffalo milk? How much of milk and water propertion is needed for her easy absorption?Please advice..

Hello,cow milk is better than Buffalo milk.You should never add water to the milk.Milk should be given once daily.You can start with 50 ml once daily and can increase it to 150 ml twice a day.Maximum upper limit is 400 ml.

You can start your baby on cows milk.
Switch to boiled undiluted cows milk as adding water will reduce the nutritive proportion of the milk
Start from 1-2 feeds/day and if tolerating can switch completely. Also give it using cup and spoon and not with bottles.
Along with switching of the milk, focus on improving the nutrition with solid food as well.
