Mild renal pyelectasis
Mild bilateral renal pyelectasis is detected in right kidney(apd 4.3) of fetus (35 week pregnancy) and left kidney is normal. Please advise whether any further investigation is required.

Yes. Please do usg of kidneys 3 days after birth to check for size. Usually pylectasis corrects with time without any treatment. Look for urine after birth.

If it persists after birth, it is a treatable condition. It is not a reason for premature delivery too.

It is very common condition.. please repeat ultrasound after birth once in seven days and then again after three months to check for Size. It usually resolves with time
