Mild Proctitis
Good Evening/Morning Doctors, I am suffering from very mild proctitis as colonscopy report said. Having mild erythema in distal rectum. Biopsy read non specific. Doctor gave antibiotics but I didn't respond. My symptoms were frequent stool, with occasional bleeding, anal dicomfort and constant urge to pass stool as if rectum is filled. Now after antibiotic mesacol 1.2 gm was given for twenty one days. Some symptoms were gone. But still I bleed every 10-15 days, with still having constant urge to pass stool. But after that my gastroenterologist said not a serious issue don't take any medicine  as my new sigmoidoscopy report read normal. Then I started managing with this feeling and 1-2 mg of blood every ten days but for last five days I started getting mucus. so then met a new gastroenterologist and he prescribed me antifungal, antibiotics and Flagyl-400mg and so within two days mucus stopped coming. He said go for stool Calprotectin test but I am not having money. what to do next?
