I have mild occular myasthenia. Symptoms includes heavy eye lid after continuous upgaze, little ptiosis, eye muscles pain on reading. I don't want to go for steroids. What can be alternative therapy? Can Pyridostigmine alone work for me? Please suggest.

Each and every patient of myesthenia are different... Some may require short or long term steroids and some may be managed on pyridostigmine... And some require both... So better you should meet your neurologist... He/she is the best person to decide which treatment suits the best for you...
